5. Third-party services

5.1 Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc.,1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (‘Google’). Through this web analysis service, the website collects and stores data from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. The usage profiles created in this way are used to evaluate visitor behaviour in order to design and improve the content of this website in line with demand. Google Analytics uses so-called ‘cookies’, small text files that are stored on your computer and allow your use of the website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website Google shortens your IP address beforehand if you are within the member states of the European Union or in countries that are contracting parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website to compile reports on website activities and to provide the website operator with other services related to usage of the website and internet. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. Pseudonymised user profiles will also not be merged with the personal data of the user without the explicit, separate consent of the user. You can disable cookies by changing the software settings of your browser; please note, however, that if you do so you may not be able to use all the features of this website to the fullest extent possible. In addition, you can prevent the collection by Google of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of these data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin from the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can view Google’s privacy policies at http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/. For more information on the Terms of Use and Privacy Policies, please visit http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/gb.html or http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/. Please note that on this website Google Analytics has been extended by the code ‘anonymizelp’ to ensure an anonymised collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).

5.2 Social media links and social sharing
We have our own social media sites with third-party providers that can be reached via links from this website. When you use the links, you access the respective websites of the third-party providers (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Google+) and can also share our contents. In this case there is no data transfer when you access our website. Once you have accessed the third-party website, you are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective third party, including their privacy statement and data use policy. We cannot influence this but, to avoid unnecessary data transfer, we recommend logging out of the respective third-party provider before using the corresponding link so that the third-party provider cannot create user profiles through use of the link.

5.3 Use of Google reCAPTCHA
This website uses the reCAPTCHA service provided by Google Inc.,1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (‘Google’). The system is designed to decide whether data are being entered by a human or by a machine as automated abuse. The query includes sending Google the IP address and any other address required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service. For this purpose, your input will be transmitted to Google and used there. However, your IP address will be shortened by Google beforehand if you are within the member states of the European Union or in countries that are contracting parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of reCAPTCHA is not merged by Google with other data. The processing thus serves to avoid the misuse of this website and ultimately takes place anonymously. Consequently, you are considered to have no overriding interests that oppose the processing (Article 6, Paragraph 1, Point f GDPR). Google’s privacy policy applies, which can be found at: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

5.4 Font Awesome Web Fonts
We use Font Awesome web fonts to show you a consistent font on our website. To provide the desired display, the fonts are automatically saved in your browser cache when you access one of our pages. If your browser does not support the used web fonts, a standard font of your computer may be used. This does not affect any interests of the user that override the technical necessity (Article 6, Paragraph 1, Point f GDPR). You can view the privacy policy of Font Awesome here: https://fontawesome.com/privacy.
